The road and building were constructed in an amazing 13 months just in time to be given to Hitler for his 50th birthday. You take a round trip bus ride up the private road. You then go through the stone tunnel. (It’s cold and you can just imagine Hitler’s gang walking through there with their “Jack” boots on!) You then take a lift to the top.
